When Salt City Builds finished a custom Honda CB750 and a friend wrapped up his own Triumph Bonneville, we saw an opportunity to highlight the creative design details behind these stunning machines. As a motorcycle enthusiast, I was drawn to how each bike reflected its builder’s personality and vision - blending craftsmanship, engineering, and artistry into something unique.
With access to a cyc wall and a Chimera F2X Light Bank, I set out to capture the essence of both bikes through photography and film. The shoot focused on the intricate details, sleek lines, and individuality that come with designing and building something custom.
Much like designing digital products, building a custom motorcycle takes thoughtful decisions, experimentation, and problem-solving. Every element - from the frame to the paint - is a deliberate choice that balances form and function. This project was both a celebration of motorcycles and a tribute to the creativity and passion that fuel design in all its forms.
