Hi there! I’m a designer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, but I grew up in Northwood, NH, spending my summers swimming in the ocean and winters shoveling snow in the driveway. These days, I share life with my amazing wife Jennie, our two spoiled dogs, Doug and Ned (both girls!), and a cat named Servo (yes, after the MST3K character). When I’m not designing, you’ll find me home brewing, jamming on guitar with Jennie on drums, or gaming with my brothers—Fortnite is the current favorite for game nights.
I earned a BS in Film with a minor in Arts & Technology (basically “web design” back then) from the University of Utah. Even in school, I loved pushing assignments further, experimenting with new tools, techniques, and ideas—a mindset that still drives my work today.
After college, I joined Underbelly Creative as one of their first hires. Over the years, I helped grow the agency from a scrappy startup into a multi-million-dollar operation, working with Fortune 500 companies like Meta and Mircosoft while also collaborating with innovative startups. Later, I took on a leadership role on the content team, where I used my film background to concept and storyboard projects, produce and direct shoots, and create motion graphics and animations for projects ranging from TV ads to podcasts to interactive web sites. It was an incredible chance to combine creativity and strategy in new and exciting ways.
I thrive on experimentation, challenging norms, and creating work that stands out. I’m drawn to projects that push boundaries, feel fresh, and leave a lasting impression. For me, it’s all about crafting experiences people can’t help but notice and share. That’s what keeps me inspired.
